Aachen, 2020/11/06 - umlaut telehealthcare GmbH has been developing and operating digital innovations and solutions in rescue services since 2014. The core of the company is the Telenotarzt, that can be connected to an accident site or an ambulance if necessary, to provide quick and efficient support. In the past few years more than 22,000 assignments in the German states of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Hessen, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have been successfully completed. The focus in the coming years will be on scaling up to other municipalities, regional states and in the international environment.
The company emerged from a collaboration between the two partners Docs in Clouds GmbH and umlaut. In the course of the further alignment of the company, the two partners decided to end the joint venture and to work in partnership on innovations in medical technology in the future. With effect from November 6th, 2020, umlaut will take over the shares of Docs in Clouds GmbH in umlaut telehealthcare GmbH and will continue and expand the innovation and solutions for the Telenotarzt. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.
