Adding expertise in the mobile business to the GSMA community to set new telecommunication standards.
Aachen, September 20, 2021 – umlaut has joined the GSM Association (GSMA), an association representing the interests of mobile operators worldwide with benefits from access to the very latest industry intelligence and information, up-to-date market data from all over the world and a unique array of tools and knowledge bases covering all aspects of mobile communications.
Our experts are working on topics such as connectivity for aviation or generating a framework that enables a user to leverage their existing mobile subscription within a car in the automotive industry. We are driving the way forward for 5G in manufacturing. With our market knowledge and engineering experience in automotive, aviation, energy, telehealthcare and telecommunication, we add value to GSMA shaping the future of connectivity across all industries. The GSMA Membership will provide us taking part to working groups and projects and a unique platform to convene with mobile operators and industry leaders.
In the telecom security area, umlaut will enhance the contribution to the industry on mobile network specific vulnerabilities and status of risks. Since 2018, umlaut has contributed to the Fraud and Security Work Group in the domain.
