For the first time, umlaut, part of Accenture, and connect take a closer look at the performance of the mobile and fixed networks in Belgium.
11.04.2023 – Together with our long-standing partner connect Magazine, we take a closer look at the performance of the mobile and fixed-line networks in Belgium.
Proximus is the overall winner of our first Mobile Network Test in Belgium with 932 points out of 1000 and the grade "very good". Base ranks second with 929 points and the grade "very good" followed by Orange with 923 points and also the grade "very good".
“In a close race between three very good operators, Proximus takes the overall win in our first Mobile Network Test in Belgium. Base and Orange follow at narrow distances and also show very strong results. The overall high level of performance and the compelling results of our Stability assessment are excellent news for the customers of all Belgian mobile networks.“ says Hakan Ekmen, CEO Telecommunication at umlaut, part of Accenture.

Proximus and Orange share the top rank of our 2023 fixed-line network test in Belgium with 897 points out of 1000 and the grade "very good". Telenet follows third with 857 points and the grade "very good". Scarlet ranks fourth with 829 points and the grade "good".
